~airwave~ - I Fought the Law, and the Law One

The first part of ~airwave~ is finally done!

It's been a crazy time trying to remember how exactly it was I managed to make games before whilst still having a job and a band and actual time off, but we survived somehow, and the game is now available for you to play, should you so wish.

Check it out here.

Very nice little game. Looking forward to the next one in the series. (And hoping you'll do another Oceanspirit Dennis game!)

Gnome: Most splendid, old friend!

Ponch: You know I'll get around to it at some point 8)

It's your best game yet. I'm having trouble finding the right combination of drink, though...

Ben304 said...

The correct combination pops up rather early in conversation with someone :)

Is said conversation revisitable?

Jonathon Wisnoski said...

@Anonymous: Yes it is.

I had the exact same problem, thought about it for awhile and the solution came to me.

But unless I missed something the conversation did not mention anything that would lead you to believe that that particular drink would be useful in this situation (it is simply the only mentioned drink).

That record label suit reminds me of Bateman from American Psycho when zie talks about music.

Really good! the drinks part slowed me down a lot, but i blame it on myself for not paying attention.

Looking forward to the next part of the series!

Also, could you upload the soundtrack? that would be neat.

Great game.
But if I was to nitpick about one thing I would say that it would be nice if all keys did not skip the current dialog, because that makes taking screenshots of conversations impossible.

Ben304 said...

AvaAvaneDawn: Quite unfamiliar with American Pyscho, but will check it out nevertheless!

AisforAxe: Thank you! The soundtrack is not mine to release, but I'll discuss it with those to whom it belongs and see what they say :)

Jonathon: This is an issue I plan to address in the game when I get some time. Hopefully I'll have an updated version uploaded at some point over the weekend.

Man oh man, I can't wait for the next iteration.

Thanks, glad to hear it! :D

Really enjoyed the artwork and especially the music although I find out hard to pay attention to the more wordy dialogues because the dj voice or song vocals were distracting me from it :X Got stuck on the drink bit and had to faq, ^^; Was sad it ended when I'd finally solved that part and I was excited to see what happens next ;_; But looking forward to the future entries. This was the first game of yours I've tried; I always liked the screenshots I'd seen from your works, but the subject matter of this one was just too interesting to not play.

Thanks! Hopefully I can keep your interest piqued with future installments :)

Just discovered this game. It's excellent :-)
Love the soundtrack too. Is it available anywhere?
Can't wait for the next one!

Ben304 said...

Thanks Thomas!

At the moment, the soundtrack hasn't been made available. I'll update everyone once it is figured out if/how it will be made available though!

Hi, I saw this game on Adventure Gamers, and just had to download immediately. I absolutely loved it and can't wait for the next episode! Although I have to say it was a little too easy for my tastes, and way too short, I can see why you would want to end the episode here. I thoroughly enjoyed the somewhat old school atmosphere, the gameplay and all the jokes :)

Oops, forgot to write what I commented for in the first place: thank you so much for this game!

Ben304 said...

Thanks Adel, glad you enjoyed it! :)

Has there been any progress on the soundtrack front? It's been a few months since I played the game, and I still kind of miss the lovely eclectic playlist.

Reem said...

Awesome, absolutely awesome!!! Absolutely loved the background-work... the colors... the characters. And ofc, the MUSIC!

Ben304 said...

Screwtape: I haven't heard from Sebastian for a while - he's been pretty busy lately doing actual real life game design study, so I'm guessing it might be a while before we see an update on the soundtrack front, sadly.

Reem: Cheers, thanks for playing and commenting! Glad we could satisfy :D

Let him express about the alley powering him or her, and that he will let you know in regards to the Dark-colored Arm Bunch Runescape Gold. And then question when they would allow you to enroll in. Go inside the structure to speak to Katrine. She's going to request which you carry the girl a pair of Phoenix az Crossbows. Use the two that you just get from the good friend through the Phoenix, az Bunch. Right now offer Katrine the particular crossbows, and she will allow you to part within the Dark Supply Gang. Currently move upper level and check out a cupboard. Search inside of this and you should have the right-half inside Defend associated with Arrav Runescape Gold for Sale. You're nonetheless certainly not fairly carried out with the actual Defend regarding Arrav search. You will find there's little far more to perform.
